I completed my undergraduate studies in violin and Community Music at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduating with a BA Honours Degree in 2005. My studies immediately continued with the British Kodály Academy where I gained a Professional Development Certificate in Early Childhood Music Education –Kodály from Roehampton University in 2006. Also in this year, I successfully completed my TEFL Certification studies with The International TEFL Corporation in Barcelona, Spain. In 2009, I completed a MSc in Music in the Community at The University of Edinburgh. Most recently, I have completed a postgraduate university course in Advanced Studies in Music and Dance Education – Orff Schulwerk at the Carl Orff Institute for Elemental Music and Dance Pedagogy, University Mozarteum Salzburg. In Scotland, I work as a freelance musician and educator. I also devise and lead training workshops for teachers and arts specialists. Most recently, I have led Orff Schulwerk inspired Music and Dance Education weekends in the Highlands of Scotland and in Belfast, Ireland. Over the last few years, I have worked for The University of Edinburgh; The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland; Drake Music Scotland; The Maryhill Integration Network; The Albanian Scottish Society; The Scottish Ensemble; The Scottish Orff-Schulwerk Association; The Edinburgh Youth Music Forum; The Junior Academy of Music, Queens University Belfast; Big Noise Scotland and Mendelssohn on Mull.
